The Worship Ministry exists to bring praise and honor to God and to point people to Jesus. Our purpose is to provide true biblical worship, in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24), and provide the opportunity for people to meet God through praise and worship during the Sunday Service.
John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in Spirit and in truth.
Psalm 95:1-2 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our Salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
Psalm 96: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among the peoples.
Through the songs we offer each Sunday:
- Our goal is for each person to learn about Jesus, grow in their love and adoration of Him, and to prepare their hearts to hear the message from the Bible each Sunday.
- For those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus, we hope to share His heart with them through the time of worship.
- Out of worshipping corporately each Sunday, we hope people will desire to worship Jesus throughout the week, encourage them in their relationship with Jesus, and serve Him within the Church and in our community.
Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess his name.
Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.
